Our special package has finally arrived. Brayden Wesley was born this past Thursday at 5:23pm weighing in at a hefty 8 lbs. 8 oz. and measuring 19 1/2″ long. After a rather lengthy labor and one really big scare with his heart rate dropping to 30 it was decided to take him C-section. Mother and baby are both doing very well and got to come home today. Of course he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on and has stolen my heart away. I was hoping you guys might like to have a look-see for yourselves so I’ve included a few of my favorite pics.

Thinking back on the wedding makes me smile. It was a delightful time and we all had so much fun. Lot’s of work, yes, but well worth it. I promised a while back to share some pics when we got them back so I’m holding true to my word. I hope you all enjoy, as we did, taking a peek at Jeff and Molly’s big day.

That’s right. Our first grandson is due a week from today. It could really be any day now. We had lunch with them today and boy are they ready. Scared and anxious all at the same time. I vaguely remember that feeling. We have been working at our house as well, making things ready. Of course the grandparent’s house has to have a baby bed complete with a changing table so this weekend has been dedicated to getting those things put together.
